Hello! I’m Katherine Khuu, a professionally trained biomedical artist currently based in Chicago. I specialize in 3D modeling, animation, and UI/UX design with a focus on healthcare and life sciences.

I hold a biology degree with a minor in traditional drawing and painting from the University of Colorado Denver, where I built a strong foundation in anatomy and physiology. As a first-generation student, I’ve worked in roles that bridge education, healthcare, and community access, including teaching assistantships and serving as a physical therapist aide. These experiences inspired my commitment to designing accessible, empathetic, and inclusive resources.

My graduate studies at the University of Illinois Chicago have allowed me to combine my passions for molecular visualization and accessibility, driving me to create work that enhances learning experiences while honoring diversity and individuality.
